J. Crandall (Del) FosterAttorney at Law - Certified Specialist in Probate, Estate Planning, and Trust LawJohn (Del) Crandall Foster is a lifelong resident of Morgan Hill. He earned his J.D. and graduated with Honors from the University of Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, Sacramento in 1990. Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Foster served in the U.S. Navy as a judge advocate for almost five years. Mr. Foster is a Certified Specialist in Probate, Estate Planning and Trust Law. His practice focuses primarily on estate planning, probate, and trust administration with an emphasis on real estate and small business planning.
For Mr. Foster, estate planning is personal. Mr. Foster lost his first wife, Donna, to cancer after 25 years of marriage and four children. Mr. Foster is now married to Pamella and has a blended family with two step-children in that marriage. Mr. Foster’s personal experience of a solid marriage, a long illness, and the death of his first wife, followed by remarriage, has impacted how he views estate planning and its application to a variety of situations. Mr. Foster believes that each situation is unique and strives for an approach to estate planning that achieves his clients’ goals
Mr. Foster is a strong supporter of community involvement. Mr. Foster was a member of the Morgan Hill Unified School Board for two terms, including two years as President, and he has served three years on the Board for Leadership Morgan Hill. He is an active member of the Rotary Club of Morgan Hill and has served as Club President. He now serves on the Board for the Rotary Club of Morgan Hill Endowment. Mr. Foster also served as a trustee on the Board for the Morgan Hill United Methodist Church.
